General Information
The Hotel is owned and operated by CAAK, LLC, located at 111 Old Indian Lake Road, Lake Pleasant, NY 12108. Our mailing address is: PO Box 224, Speculator, NY 12164.
By using our website or making a booking, you accept these Terms & Conditions.
Reservations & Bookings
Guests must be at least 21 years old to make a reservation.
A valid credit card is required to guarantee all reservations, and payment in full is required to book rooms.
Confirmation will be provided via email once your booking is processed.
Minimum or maximum stay restrictions may apply during peak seasons, weekends, or special events and will be reflected on our booking site.
Rates & Payment
All rates are quoted in dollars per room, per night, unless otherwise stated. Taxes and fees may apply.
Payment in full is required to book rooms.
A valid credit card must be presented at check-in for incidentals.
Check-In & Check-Out
Check-in time: 3 PM
Check-out time: 11 AM
Early check-in and later check-out times may be requested although we may not always be able to accommodate late changes and will depend on availability and on how busy we are. Early check-in or check-out time may incur additional fee.
At check-out time please drop keys at the front desk.
Please note that a more detailed inspection of the room/apartment is usually made after the check-out time and we reserve the right to make charges for any damages or breakages found before the room/apartment is occupied again.
A valid government-issued photo ID is required at check-in.
Cancellations, Modifications & No-Show
Cancellation is free of charge up to 21 days in advance of stay. Cancellations made after this period will be charged 50% of the total stay. Cancellations made less than 7 days or no shows will forfeit booking charge.
Group bookings and special offers may have different cancellation terms, which will be stated at the time of booking.
Occupancy & Guest Rules
Maximum room occupancy: 2 guests unless otherwise noted.
Rollaway beds/cribs may be available upon request, subject to availability and additional fee.
Visitors are not permitted to stay overnight without registration and may be required to present identification.
Hotel Policies
Smoking: The Melody Lodge is a smoke-free facility. Smoking is allowed in the parking lot only.
Pets: We’re sorry, but we do not allow pets in our guest rooms. Trained service dogs are welcome. Please contact us at least a week prior to bringing any service dogs to the property.
Well-behaved, leashed dogs are welcome at our outdoor seating only.
Alcohol: Only guests of legal drinking age may consume alcohol on hotel premises.
Noise & Conduct: Guests must respect quiet hours ([Insert Time]) and refrain from disturbing other guests.
Events & Facilities
Use of the property as event space requires a separate contract. Please reach out via email to explore options.
Outside catering and alcohol are not permitted unless expressly authorized in writing and require additional information.
Guests are responsible for damages incurred during private or public events.
Liability & Responsibility
The Hotel is not liable for loss, theft, or damage of guests’ personal belongings.
​Guests are responsible for any damage caused to hotel property during their stay.
​The Hotel shall not be liable for events outside its control, including weather, power outages, or other force majeure circumstances.
Privacy & Data Protection
We collect and use personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
By booking with us, you consent to the processing of your personal data for reservation and guest service purposes.

All content, logos, and images on our website are the property of The Melody Lodge.
Unauthorized use, copying, or distribution of website content is prohibited.
Third-Party Services
Our website may contain links to third-party sites. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of these sites.
Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Hamilton County, New York.
Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Hamilton County.
Amendments
The Hotel reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updates will be posted on this page with the date of the last revision.
